Hi! I’m Sihi. I am dreamer and love food, photography and food photography. I am a complete amateur when it comes to both food and photography. I am learning , and, each day has gone by learning something new, thus far. I am not a traditional cook and can barely stay focused through a recipe. I use recipes to understand the basic technique and adapt it in a way I feel my family and friends will enjoy.

In August 2012, I found out I was gluten intolerant (in addition to being lactose intolerant). My world and outlook towards food has changed since and has provided a new path for my food blogging. What started out as an attempt to learn food photography has now become an exploration of the world of food, more specifically gluten free, dairy free and soy free.

With this new approach towards food, we have become more conscious of what we eat and where it comes from. We now buy entirely local, organic and practice vegan living as many days as we can during any given month.

Living healthy and without ingredients that are animal derived is the culture we are trying embrace and move forwards. We still have a long way to go, but we are working on staying motivated.

I currently live in Texas with my husband of nine beautiful years and our three year old daughter. We enjoy spending time as a family and cooking together.
