Dairy Free (& Gluten Free) Fettuccine Alfredo
Pin ItThis dairy free alfredo sauce recipe is thick and bubbly in no time. Adding shrimp and asparagus promotes fettuccine alfredo from a side dish to a main course! The base recipe can be used to make it as a vegan side dish or the dairy free sauce can be used as a base for chicken alfredo, broccoli alfredo, lasagna alfredo, etc.
This recipe can be made gluten free by using gluten free fettuccine and flour or regular by using normal fettuccine and regular flour (no change in measure on either).
From the original site: A couple of years ago, I was on a kick to duplicate all of the recipes my mother used to make growing up, only this time gluten and dairy free. One of the toughest was Fettuccine Alfredo. The recipe below is for making it as a side dish but, I’ve included instruction at the bottom for adding asparagus and shrimp and expanding it into a full meal. (This is how I made it last and it was incredible!)
