Sometimes when flipping through food blogs, I run across an idea that makes me say “huh, I never thought to try that!”.  That was my thought when seeing this post at reader Leslie’s blog, the Sunday Chef!  English Muffins!  We’ve done Challah Bread, Soda Bread, Cornbread (twice), and Whole Wheat Bread… So I figured English Muffins would be a nice addition to the list.  I like how she used an electric griddle to make them, too!

I can think of tons of ways to customize these… how about adding cranberries, or adding nuts & grains?

Remember, if you’ve got a great post to share with us, drop us a line here!

We love english muffins.  They are delicious and so versatile (two of my favorite qualities) – good sweet with stuff like peanut butter and jams or salty/savory as egg sandwiches, our most common use.  You can even stick them in the toaster oven with butter, garlic and cheese for tasty little garlic toasts or mini-pizzas.
