So this isn’t technically a recipe, but what a fabulously useful food related idea!  Zakka Life shares her tutorial and a template on how to make these lovely baskets, from colorful cardstock…  These would be fabulous for sandwiches or chips at a picnic… or at a party!  What would you do with them?

The other night we were having corn fritters with dinner when I got this crafty idea. I was steering at the paper basket that the fritters came in and thought they would look good in other prints rather than the traditional red gingham. I was picturing, duck prints for baby showers, princess prints for birthday parties and so on. So later that night I deconstructed the basket and made a template. It was so easy to make that I had to share.
