Hey, I’m Dawn. I am a trained researcher and enjoy the science of baking. I’m also a professional crafter who specializes in recycled materials. That same theory follows me into the kitchen – I absolutely hate throwing food away. I work hard to find ways to use up that last bit of canned pumpkin or those bland leftovers that were almost forgotten at the back of the fridge.
I live in Richmond, VA with my wonderful husband who happens to be a life long picky eater. Currently, I’m concentrating on eating more vegetables and finding creative ways to sneak incorporate them into our daily routine. My food philosophy is pretty simple: eat more things that come from the earth, fewer things that come from a lab, and enjoy it all!
