Mixed Berry Cobbler

During a recent trip to my hometown of Joplin, Missouri we went to a berry farm and picked Blackberries. My 2 year old LOVED every second of it! We took our fresh berries home and made a delicious and healthy cobbler. There is no added sugar in this recipe and the cobbler topping is super healthy and satisfying.

Ingredients:

Berry Cobbler

3 Cups Berries (I used Blackberries, Raspberries, Blueberries and chopped Strawberries)
1 Tbsp Whole Wheat Flour
1/4 Cup Honey or Agave
Cobbler Topping

1/4 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 Cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
1/4 Cup Walnuts, chopped
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
1/4 Cup Honey
1 tsp. Canola Oil

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a small shallow baking dish with cooking spray. Toss the berries with the tablespoon of flour until coated. Stir in the honey or agave. Pour into the baking pan.

For the topping stir together the dry ingredients. Stir in honey and canola oil. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the fruit. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Let cool for 10 -15 minutes.

Serves 4-6
