There are many ways to slice or chop up a bell pepper, but this method will give you nice, neat slices or lovely little square cubes. For a dish where prettiness and presentation count, I’d use the neat slices of pepper, and save the ‘less neat’ pieces to throw into an omelet or salad later.
- Required: 1 Bell Pepper, 1 Knife
- Slice off the top of the pepper
- Use your fingers to reach in and remove the seeds
- Slice off the bottom of the pepper.
- Slice the pepper in half, then into strips (which can then optionally be diced)
- Chop up the bottom and top into the less neat pieces.
